  Carly played county standard netball before she started rowing. Carly was recruited in October 2014 as part of the NRC Talent ID scheme. She went on to race at BUCS Regatta 2015, coming 11th in the beginner single, and also competing in the beginner 4+ and 8+. Carly has a keen interest in animal welfare, and has recently adopted a hamster named Pumpkin who she is hoping to enter into talent shows in the near future.
